| The George Harradon Mark Lodge No 956 held its last meeting of the 2013/14 season at Liverpool Masonic Hall, Hope Street on 15th May. It was first meeting held after the Provincial Grand Lodge Meeting at Southport. Three members of George Harradon Mark Lodge had received appointments at the Provincial Meeting. The three recipients were; W Bro Colin Bayliss promoted to P Prov GJW; W Bro Alan Boyle first appointment to P Prov AGDC and W Bro Derek Gaskell honoured to Prov GStwd. During the second rising all three were honoured as well as a visitor to the lodge on the evening W Bro Alan Foster ProvGMO of Lathom Mark Lodge No256. | |

| The labours of the evening had been; The Mark Masons Lecture given by the IPM WBro Derek Gaskell and the election of W Bro Alan Boyle as the Master Elect, for 2014/15. Discussion also took place regarding the 2015 Liverpool Mark Festival that George Harradon Mark Lodge No 956 is hosting in Feb 2015. | |
| Another guest on the evening was W Bro Stephen Walls PProv JGW of; of Corinthian Mark Lodge NO1052. W Bro Walls is to receive Grand Rank on 10/06/2014 to Acting Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. | |

| Steve is also undertaking a 130 mile bike ride along the Leeds- Liverpool canal towpath, in aid of; Linda McCartney Cancer Care Centre Royal Liverpool Hospital and the West Lancashire Macmillan Nurses. There will be five riders in total with an average age of 60+ and their goal is to do the ride in 15 hours. They will start in Leeds on 17/06/2014 and finish at Liverpool Pier head on the afternoon of 19/06/2014. | |
